My final major project at Falmouth university is to show awareness for mental health.

Neon colour was used to show these peoples personalities before and after the illness takes over. These colours show the affects these illnesses have on people their inner emotions, warm and welcoming, then deteriorating to cold and depressive. The neon paint puts a new twist on mental health photography and magnifies the strength of the emotions.

“It starts as sadness then I feel myself shutting down, becoming less capable of coping. Eventually, I just feel numb and empty.”
